STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION
"Stewardship Benefit"
"To each individual the manifestation of the spirit is given for some benefit." (1 Corinthians 12:7)

Our Stewardship calls us to use our giftedness for some benefit in God's plan. The sum total of the Stewardship of the body of believers helps fulfill God's plan. Each gift of time, talent and treasure, is promised to bless and to herby, benefit us as we see God using us in His plan.

HOLY HOUR
A Holy Hour for ALL Eucharistic Ministers and other Lay ministers will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 7:00pm at St. Teresa of Avila Church. This Holy Hour is highly recommended for all Eucharistic Ministers for a better appreciation of Our Lord in the sacrament of the Eucharist. All Lay ministers and members of the Parish are invited.

MERGER CORNER
The Transitional Liturgy Committee met May 18 at St. Mary's. The committee reviewed recommendations for the Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Altar Servers and Decorating subcommittees. The Transitional Liturgy Committee also opened discussions on Greeters and Ushers. Meetings of the Transitional Liturgy Committee for the merging parishes of St. Mary's, Immaculate Conception, St. Teresa of Avila and St. Michael's are planned for twice a month. The next meeting is June 15.

Parishioners will begin seeing changes in their bulletins in the coming months as we move toward one bulletin for the merging parishes.

If you have any questions about the merger, please feel free to ask one of the Priest Co-Conveners or a Core Team member. The Priest Co-Conveners and Core Team members are listed below. We thank you for your prayers and support as we move through this process.

Priest Co-Conveners: Father Ariel Hernandez and Father Michael Goyette. Core Team Members: Frank Catalana, Manuel Sandoval, Maribel Santos, Pat Hannum, Ed Hilt, Mike Takacs, Darrin Krug, Marie Krug, Paul Wolfe, Ann Budde, Sandra Johnson, and Robert Malestein.
