Next Sunday is World Mission Sunday, October 18, 2009. MISSION magazine is published four times a year by the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. It helps keep donors informed about the Church in the Developing World and the missionary work supported through their prayers and financial help. If you would like to receive MISSION magazine, please put your address on your offering envelope and the parish will submit it.


STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION - Stewardship Responsibility
"It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:25)

These words of Jesus are so harsh that sometimes we are tempted to ignore our Stewardship responsibility, thinking that He really could not have meant them. Yet when our lives revolve around too many material possessions it is difficult to find the necessary time for God, for salvation and for God's beloved poor.
