MISSION STATEMENT
In a pre-revolutionary war multi-Christian environment St. Michael's Church, Cedarville, was incorporated in 1942 under the episcopal jurisdiction of the Diocese of Camden dedicated in the Catholic tradition through its assigned pastors and competent leaders for spreading the fullness of the faith by the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the priestly worship of Almighty God: "I will build my Church." (Matthew 16:16). Prior to the 20th-Century it's original jurisdiction fell to the Catholic Diocese of Trenton with the missionary foundation of St. Anthony's Church in Port Norris in 1913, later embraced as one of St. Michael's several missions in a 400 sq. mile wooded, farming and bayside region. Now in it's 21st-Century, St. Michael's Church having consolidated as a newly formed Parish of the Holy Cross with the merging Catholic Churches in Bridgeton and Rosenhayn continues its same mission challenging the faithful in a more dedicated Stewardship of time, talent and treasure for the building up of God's Kingdom on earth to His great honor and Glory until He comes again.
